Located in the slopes of the Himalayas along the conjunction of Ganga and Chandrabhaga River, Rishikesh is a little town in the Dehradun district, situated close to Haridwar in Uttarakhand. While devoting some time at this ashram is an absolute when visiting this mystical city, there are plenty of other places that claim your attention. Start your day with river rafting at Shivpuri trailed by a simple breakfast at one of the waterside cafes and then roam around the numerous shops lined beside Laxman Jhula.
Finally, relax at the Ghat and submerge automatically in the magnificent and fabulously tranquil Ganga Aarti in the sunset.
