Auli is a hill station which resides in the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand state in India. It has rightly sprung its name Auli – meaning meadows, from the features of its topography. The hill station is placed on slopes also has far extending meadows that look fabulous to the eyes. Auli is also agreed as the skiing capital of India which clarifies how well the activity can truly be enjoyed here.
The winter months offer this electrifying experience and attract enthusiasts from across the globe. Other activities in Auli involve trekking to nearby peaks like Guarso and Kwani Bugyal. There is also a great possibility for camping in and around Auli. The cherry on top is the climate in Auli. The hill station being positioned on a slope is high in altitude but is also bounded by heavy vegetation of deodars and oaks. This controls the speed of the wind blowing here and thus, giving Auli a pleasing environment.
